For those of you wondering what I have been doing with my time, I’ve been volunteering on the Ice Age Trail. The following photo album is from my most recent work. I spent 3 days in September and 4 days back in August working on the trail.
This was a particularly challenging section building 1,200 feet of board walk. Although the work was tough, cold and frustrating it was well worth it. I really enjoyed all the folks I spent time with. I’m fortunate to have been able to work on the Plover River Crew. I’m only hoping to repeat this experience again in October. Thanks to all the crew members who taught me new skills.
Interested in helping out and giving back. Head over to the Ice Age Trail website for more information. Until next time. Happy Volunteering!!!
